ICAST is the world’s largest fishing tackle trade show. This is the big event where every fishing manufacturer provides a first look at the new gear, tackle, tech, and apparel for the coming year. And The Salt Report was there to cover it all. An on-location broadcast from the producers of Sport Fishing Television, The Salt Report: ICAST Edition, brings together the latest fishing gear, as well as industry legends to discuss a range of topics and enjoy the show.
Hosted by Shawn Bean, editorial director of Salt Water Sportsman, writer/director of Sport Fishing Television and Charlie Levine, editor-in-chief of Anglers Journal, the show highlights a new year of fishing products debuting at the world’s largest sportfishing trade show.
Join us for our second day of interviews and product reviews at ICAST, the world’s largest fishing trade show. Featured guests: IGFA president Jason Schratwieser, “Crazy” Alberto Knie, Garmin’s Dave Dunn, Mike Prelec, Jr. with Battery Tender, Sharrow Marine’s Eric Olson, Bear and Bannon Holeman, Zac “Yeti” Yarbrough, Derek and Cory Redwine, Salt Water Sportsman writer Nick Honachefsky, and artist Dennis Friel. It’s Day Two of The Salt Report, live from ICAST 2025.
Produced in the style of a video podcast, the editors of Salt Water Sportsman and Anglers Journal recorded The Salt Report from the Orange County Convention Center, with correspondents, exhibitors, and industry friends and personalities serving as featured guests for a mix of conversation and product previews and reviews.
Episodes will be distributed across Salt Water Sportsman, Anglers Journal and Sport Fishing’s digital and social channels, featured in the daily The Salt Report e-newsletter, and aired multiple times on Outdoor America — the premier network for hunting, fishing, and the outdoors.
“The Salt Report is our new franchise that will go on the road to cover newsworthy and notable events and destinations in the saltwater fishing universe, from trade shows to tournaments and boat shows and beyond,” said Bean. “And there’s no better place to debut The Salt Report than ICAST.”
