The Yamaha U.S. Marine Business Unit announced that portable outboards from 2.5 to 15 hp are now available at select West Marine locations.

With easy starts, incredible efficiency and reliable performance, Yamaha’s 2.5-, 4-, 6-, 8-, 9.9- and 15-hp models are excellent as kickers and are perfect for all sorts of light duty.
The 15-hp, 362cc portable is an SOHC inline, 2-cylinder design. Its single carburetor and CDI microcomputer ignition system make it one of the most fuel efficient outboards in its class. At 111 pounds, it’s suitable for such lightweight craft as aluminum fishing boats, tenders and inflatables.
