The 24XO was introduced at the Miami International Boat show in February, and it’s the second model in a new line that combines the shallow-water capability of a bay boat with a deep-vee hull capable of heading offshore when the weather is right. The first model, introduced last year, was the 26XO.
Engineers at Pursuit know a few things about boats designed for many purposes. This builder was one of the first to put cruising features on its center console models when demand for the combo really started to pick up steam a decade ago.
With its traditional lines, wide teak decks and exquisite cherry interior woodwork, the 58 SE rivaled many of the town’s finer coastal homes both in appearance and architectural detail.
Center Console boats have come a long way from their lean and mean roots, and we’re learning that anglers are grateful for the change.
The Finnish builder has only one request: Take their rocket-ship-like cruisers for a spin. Naturally, we relented.
